GROUP EXERCISE

Unique classes bridging the gap between health and fitness restoring the dynamic harmony of the human body.

WHAT ARE THE PROGRAMS?

The group exercise programs available at The Rehab Room are not your typical gym class. We put together specific activities according to our guiding principles of Guy Voyer DO and his complexity model within the body. Each part of the body is made stronger by its connection to the whole and our approach to group classes aims to restore the dynamic harmony of the human body, paying particular attention to the spine, limbs and everything in-between, ensuring everything is balanced.

Each group exercise class has a specific goal and works towards a different purpose. Below are some of the group exercise options currently offered.

WHAT TYPES OF EXERCISES?

ELDOA

Goal: To create space within a chosen joint region, by increasing the articulated space within different areas brings a multitude of health benefits.

Style: Classes work through a structured warm up followed by selected ELDOAs, including factors of progression and a few fun and challenging surprises thrown in.

Ideal Client: These classes are great for anyone. Also recommended as an addition to your Rehab Room home exercise program.

MFS (Myofascial Stretching)

Goal: To correct soft tissue imbalances throughout the body, improving joint mobility, enhance performance and awareness.

Style: Each class will begin with a structured warm up followed by a series of myofascial stretches targeting particular muscle fibres and their corresponding fascial chain.
